playing liveHello from us....latest news from myeleventhtoe is that we are taking a break from pub gigs for the next 2 months at least. We have been meaning to learn and rehearse new songs for the set and have been so busy we have not had time. We feel we need to challenge oursleves more now, we are very hungry and keen to progress and come back with a bigger and better sound, a new set list, but still keeping some classics in there. We feel it's time to go and rethink it all up again. It is not the end at all, but we want to give you all something back for the support you have shown.

We will still of course be doing the private bookings we have booked. So we're really looking forward to doing these new songs and we'll keep you posted on the website as to how they are coming along, and try and film some rehearsals while we're at it.

Thank you for the support you always show us and we'll see you soon.

New Songs....

Back into some gigs starting this friday, 23rd July, at The Marlborough and we're really hoping to get some new songs into the set. Tom is back from holiday's this week, so we'll be rehearsing some new songs on thursday and hopefully will get a couple of them into the set for friday. We're also there the week after, and will have some more new songs in the set for that.

We're also investing in some new equipment to make our sound bigger again, and in rehearsals we'll be trying a few new things on existing songs and revisiting the set to take some of the songs in a new direction. We're pretty excited about trying new things to the music and can't wait to get out there and gig the set list and have some great nights.

Hoping for a great summer and as always hoping for your continued support at all the gigs - wouldn't be the same without you all.

See you soon, and thank you...
David

News from the band front......we need more news! Nothing much to report at the moment. We're quite on the pub gigs as we have band holiday's coming up (not all together of course, that's taking things a little to far). No, it's Tom that is off on one of his many trips this summer, probably on one of his million pound yachts and the lifestyle he's acustomed to, think he earns far to much. But we are looking to see where we can fit in dates around holidays and other gigs we have, so please keep checking for details.

We're still trying to work through new songs and seeing which ones work better than others. It's a great creative experience to try and put something new into these songs rather than just copy them. Please drop us an email on info@my11thtoe.co.uk if you have any (sane) suggestions.

See you very soon.

Many thanks
David

Great night again last night at The Marlborough....the crowd a little subdued for the first half and maybe not quite realising it was the weekend, but you stuck around and more followed. Thanks to those that came to see us again, we know your faces and we thank you.

New songs went down well and by the end the crowd was more than bouncing. Keep checking 'GIG' section as more dates will be added for this summer when we have confirmation.

Until then, drop us a line if you have any comments, or thoughts on songs, or suggestions of your own choices of songs. You never know....

Thanks again
David

Just to confirm, myeleventhtoe are playing this friday at the Marlborough Arms as listed in the gig guide. We have been rehearsing a couple of new songs and rocking up a couple of existing songs, and aim to bring a little something extra into friday's show.

As always, your support is massivley valued and we love to see familiar faces there. We're really geared up for a great night and I'm trying my best to get rid of a chest infection that's causing some irratation when I reach some notes, but I'll be giving it everything on friday but, hope that as always, you give me a hand and sing with us.

Hope to see you all friday, until then....

Time change for tonight's show at the Shropshire Arms. Because of the races being on, the band will be starting at 8:00pm. We're ready for a great rock and roll show. See you there!

Footage of rehearsals will be making it onto the site soon so you can see what we're up to and how we try and work songs out.....sometimes it's not as easy as first appears!!

Hopefully see some of you there tonight and the rest in the next list of shows coming up. Take it easy.....

Lots happening in the camp of myeleventhtoe. For the next few nights we're going to be doing some recording at our home studio to get some more of the songs we do up on the website. It's looking like we'll get some CD's pressed up for future gigs to so watch this space.

As we are fully aware, the pictures on the website need changing. Our old bass player is no longer with us and hasn't been for some time, but we've been trying to get some pictures of Emlyn, our new bassist for a while. I'm pleased to say we now have them and a couple of new band shots of the band performing at a recent gig. So apologies for not getting this updated sooner...Emlyn's write up will also be on there, so keep looking out for that.

David took some terrific crowd shots at last friday's Marlborough Arms gig. We'll be putting these up. The shots show the crowd having a great night and we think it will become a regular feature, maybe making it's own section on the website. It's great for you to see what we see, so thank you for singing along and being part of it. Look out for yourselves soon if you were at that gig in the Marlborough. Talking of the Marlborough - it has become a bit of a home for us and we just love playing there as much as we can. So much life and great staff...

Thanks
David

Got a great wedding to do tomorrow night at an amazing venue in the heart of Cheshire countryside, really can't wait to play that one. A very magical place. Come along tonight and join in the entertainment, the big songs and warm your vocals up. We're coming out fighting.....

What an amazing night we have just had in Marlborough Arms. For everyone that was there.....thank you so very much for a truly amazing evening. One of our very best, the crowd seemed to be so full of what we were doing and sang their hearts out. They really carried us through and took us to another level of playing. It's always an amazing night at the Marlborough Arms, thanks to Ben, so much atmosphere, so much fun, so much warmth and genuine liking for what we do. For those who were not there, come to the next one. It's great to see familiar faces keep returning, we hope you keep following us and supporting what we do. We are rehearsing new songs at the moment, but at the same time we are trying out new bass players ready for Chris's departure in September when he's off travelling. Auditions are being held at the moment - anyone you know let us know and come for an audition. You never know.

Thank you so much again to the wonderful crowd that was there tonight - we'll see you at the next gig. Keep with us, we massively appreciate it all the time.

David
